VIOLET WRKSHP MISSION STATEMENT

Violet WRKSHP is an NYU-rooted creative collective and cultural hub bringing together musicians, DJs, producers, photographers, visual and fine artists, actors, directors, stylists, designers, models, and more. Founded and creatively directed by Christian Harley (Music Business B.S., 2027), Violet WRKSHP exists at an intersection where music meets fashion, art meets performance, and individual voices find shared resonance.

Built on community, taste, and quiet conviction, we create space for emerging talent to connect, collaborate, and be seen. The collective has quickly grown to over 100 NYU student creatives and continues to expand with intention. We value cross-disciplinary exchange and believe culture moves forward when ideas influence one another naturally.

Through a growing set of curated platforms including an upcoming blog, vlogs, playlists, live events, and exhibitions, we will spotlight standout work, share meaningful opportunities, and encourage real creative exchange from our members. As both a platform and a living network, we prioritize quality over volume, originality over trend-chasing, and intention over noise. We exist to amplify dope work, honor every discipline equally, and build something elevated, inclusive, and unmistakably future-facing.
